George was finally happy that cooler temperatures had arrived in Pennsylvania. He wasn’t in favor of the gusty winds and pelting rain, but welcome to Western Pennsylvania. He pulled on his galoshes and raincoat and off he went running errands for his girlfriend, Nicole. To thank George for his help, Nicole was letting him drive her car. Something that only happened on rare occasions.

George was a glitch magnet or perhaps he just has bad luck.

Either way, Nicole thought her vehicle was running perfect so there was no harm in letting George drive, Charlie for a day. The errands were almost complete and the rain had taken a break when George decided to stop for a quick snack. If you consider a Slurpee a snack.

As George exited the 7-11 with his cherry Slurpee, he noticed a police officer standing next to Charlie (Nicole’s car). 

After having a brief conversation, George was informed that the PA State Inspection stickers were expired. On the spot, George called Lou at Lombardi Auto Body and explained the situation. He was able to make arrangements to have the Charlie inspected the next day. The police officer was impressed and decided not to give George a citation or even a warning.
